Peter Engelbrecht

Peter is currently an age-group triathlete who previously was a collegiate middle distance runner.  Peter earned All-American honors after placing third on four separate occassions in the 800m event at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championships from 1991 - 1995.

Peter was also a member of the winning 4x800m relay team at the Penn Relays and Texas Relays in 1995.  In that year, the 4x800m team was ranked first in the world.  The relay team remains in the top 50 on the World All-Time ranking.

Peter has competed in South Africa, Finland and in the United States.

Diane van Deusen

Diane is life-long walker and runner.  She has participated in a plethora of road races including marathons, half marathons and 10Ks noncompetitively in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Georgia, and Ohio over the years—she just likes collecting the bib numbers and t-shirts!

Diane firmly believes that ‘slow and steady will get you to the finish line’ and the real winners are those who muster the courage to even try.
